Kendall + Christian | Barn at Kline’s Mill Wedding

Kendall and Christian’s Barn at Kline’s Mill wedding was absolutely gorgeous–and a long time coming. These two met in high school on the bus as sophomores. Kendall had just moved to the area with her family and quickly became friends with some of Christian’s friends. They tried the dating thing for a few weeks the following year, but decided to remain friends instead. It wasn’t until homecoming of senior year when Christian asked her out and the rest is history. Fast forward a few years and Christian proposed during a Jeep ride to the Luray overlook.

It’s only fitting they chose Barn at Kline’s Mill for their wedding. It’s surrounded by hills, has sheep on-site and is beautiful! Kendall and Christian had their ceremony outdoors and their reception inside. They chose shades of wine and burgundy with navy and grey for their colors and added lots of personal touches. Christian’s grandfather served as the officiant, their guestbook was a wooden plaque for guests to sign and they had a quilt with their photos displayed on the wall. The florals were stunning! Dinner was catered by Early Katering (I still need that sauce they used for their pulled pork) and for dessert, Kendall and Christian combined a two-tier naked cake with a variety of specialty cupcakes.

After dinner, they packed the dance floor and at one point the groomsmen actually successful completed the Dirty Dancing lift with the groom (after a few practice attempts with a groomsman) in the role of Baby. Many may try; only a few succeed.
