Amber and Sean’s fall wedding at Arbor Haven was delayed a year due to COVID-19, but it was definitely worth the wait. These two met several years ago and were engaged in July 2019 with attendance by a very special mouse–Mickey! Sean proposed to Amber not only at Disney, but in front of the main man himself. They have the best photo with Mickey making the cutest expression. He has his hand on his mouth in that bashful Mickey pose. It’s fantastic!
Amber and Sean had a relaxed September wedding with about 100 people–and several birds! A hawk flew in the rings. Amber and Sean had set it up as a surprise for their guests. It definitely worked. The bird swooped down the aisle and landed on the best man’s arm. Amazing! There was also another, larger bird that posed for photos after the ceremony.
In addition to the birds, Amber and Sean added tons of little personalized touches to their day. They highlighted their love of “Up!” through their guestbook print and Sean’s “Grape soda” pin. Amber had a special brooch on her bouquet honoring her late father along with a Disney pin. She also wore jewelry her father had gifted her mother. Sean and Amber had a custom Jenga set with their names and wedding date on it and instead of a cake, they had a dessert table, which I always love. Guests enjoyed tons of post-dinner dancing before a sparkler exit. Fun fact: Another HGP couple and Arbor Haven couple, Hannah and Brandon, had met Amber and Sean at a baseball game and were guests at the wedding. Amber and Sean then attended Hannah and Brandon’s wedding a few weeks later. How awesome is that?
