I'm a published wedding and portrait photographer located in a small town outside of Charlottesville. In addition to capturing beautiful images, I love spending time with my family, am freakishly good at word games (Hey Wheelmobile!), love an ice cold can of Coke or Dr. Pepper, know every line to Hocus Pocus and can never pass up a Chick-fil-A waffle fry or a trip to HomeGoods.

Myeshia + Devin | John J. Wright, Spotsylvania, VA

Myeshia and Devin aren’t high school sweethearts, they’re middle school sweethearts. These two met at John J. Wright Middle School in band. Does it get any sweeter than that? When Myeshia contacted me with the idea to have a portrait session at the place they first met, I was excited! It’s not often that two […]

Kevin + Morgan | Alturia Farm Wedding

Morgan once told me she’s not a cold weather girl, but you could never tell it judging by her wedding day. She was all smiles all day as she married Kevin March 9 at Alturia Farm, a gorgeous horse farm complete with white barns in King William about 20 miles outside of Richmond. It was […]

I know people complain that it’s a manufactured holiday and we should show our loved ones how we feel every day, but there’s something so sweet about a whole day devoted to love. Winter Wedding Inspiration | Part Two | Cousiac Manor

I love a good styled, or inspiration, shoot and this winter wedding inspiration shoot is no different. This shoot was held at the beautiful Cousiac Manor in the Northern Neck. The venue is a combination of historic and rustic located adjacent to the Pamunkey River. The venue allows for a variety of looks because it has the historic […]

Winter Wedding Inspiration | Part One | Cousiac Manor

I’m not a cold weather girl, but I love a winter wedding. I know that’s a contradiction, but there’s something about a bride in sleeves and (faux!) fur that I love as well as the rich jewel tones that are often found in winter weddings. Winter weddings tend to be all about burgundy, deep blues […]

Noah | Six Months | Fredericksburg Family Session

I’m going back into the archives to share images from a favorite late summer Fredericksburg family session. Noah’s parents first came to me for a maternity session when they were expecting. We’ve since captured tons of photos and I love getting to document their family as he gets older. Noah’s 6-month session is one of […]

Aubrey and Drew were married in September at the Mt. Airy Mansion in Upper Malboro, MD. The two actually reside in Oklahoma, but chose Maryland because it’s where Aubrey is from. The Mt. Deanna + Robert | Orange Virginia Maternity

I’m delving into the archives to highlight a beautiful summer session from 2016. It’s not often that I get to have a session close to home, so when Deanna contacted me about her maternity session in Orange, I was super excited! Taylor Park, which I’ve walked and driven by a million times, has great brick […]
