Blush Summer Wedding Inspiration | Jasmine Plantation

Temperatures are heating up and it’s the perfect time to start dreaming about summer weddings. Virginia is full of beautiful venues bursting with color this time of year including Jasmine Plantation which made for the perfect backdrop for this blush summer wedding inspiration shoot.

Hosted by Crystal Belcher and Angie McPherson, the shoot featured a modern romantic vibe with hues of blush and gold complimented by greenery.  Two couples were incorporated with one, Heather and Anthony, offering a more traditional, romantic look and the other, Nicole and Chaz, a more modern, colorful look. Heather’s bouquet featured white flowers paired with greenery while Nicole’s had similar greenery, but paired with various shades of roses.

The table featured a mix of the florals found in the bouquets, complimented by greenery, along with blush linens and gold flatware. The cake was a mix of blush and white with gold accents.

The Historic Jasmine Plantation was the perfect location for the shoot, featuring a variety of elements including tons of florals, a garden, open fields, several pergolas, a gazebo and a wooden foot bridge. The venue also has a swing that is perfect for photos.

It was a beautiful day and I’m excited to share some of the gorgeous images I captured all while being six months pregnant. The shoot was the last Sunday in April and Hartley was born at the end of July so you could kind of say we shot it together. I’ll spare you any behind the scenes shots of me capturing the details with my big ‘ole bump and share all the beautiful blush summer wedding inspiration instead.
