Caitlin and Tony had the most beautiful, loving wedding at The Refinery in Culpeper. The two first met via a dating app, but when they met-up in person days later, it was an instant connection. As Caitlin describes it, they spent six hours talking over coffee. They both also have a passion for serving others–she a nurse and he a pastor. The two revisited that coffee shop later in their relationship, followed by a walk to a creek where Tony asked Caitlin to marry him.
For their wedding, Caitlin and Tony chose The Refinery at 120 in downtown Culpeper. The space is a gorgeous loft-style venue, with both an upstairs and downstairs. Exposed brick is always good. The upstairs includes a bridal suite and an open area for the ceremony. The downstairs includes reception space with separate areas for both dining and dancing. A major plus is the location. Being in downtown means there are plenty of streets and alleyways that make great photo spots.
The wedding featured shades of green and pops of white with lots of greenery adoring the tables. The cake was surrounded by a variety of dessert options and a circular arch present in the ceremony also created decor for the sweetheart table. Amber colored uplighting added additional touches in the reception space and a Jenga-style guestbook had guests writing their best wishes. The ceremony itself was personal and spiritual with live worship music. Following a cocktail hour and dinner, guests enjoyed dancing with many showing off their moves before heading into the night for a bubble exit.
