I'm a published wedding and portrait photographer located in a small town outside of Charlottesville. In addition to capturing beautiful images, I love spending time with my family, am freakishly good at word games (Hey Wheelmobile!), love an ice cold can of Coke or Dr. Pepper, know every line to Hocus Pocus and can never pass up a Chick-fil-A waffle fry or a trip to HomeGoods.

Belvedere Plantation Bridals | Fredericksburg Virginia Wedding Photographer

Back in June, I had the opportunity to shoot some bridal shots at Belvedere Plantation. The bride was gorgeous and photogenic, the location was amazing and the dress was to die for. It’s one of those dresses that make you want to play dress up ala Friends style. Sometimes a girl just needs some beading […]

A farm, fields and a gorgeous bride… | Fredericksburg Virginia Bridal Photographer

I’m beyond excited to share these photos from a recent styled shoot at Belvedere Plantation. The plantation, which is a favorite fall destination of mine, has stepped into the wedding business, offering up its gorgeous grounds as the backdrop to ceremonies and receptions. As seen in the photos below, the fields offer the perfect backdrop […]

Keswick Vineyards Wedding | Charlottesville Virginia Wedding Photographer

Last month, I had the opportunity to shoot a beautiful, intimate Keswick Vineyards wedding. It was an overcast day so the colors really popped against the mountains and vines. The ceremony was small and intimate with lots of personal details: handwritten vows, a hand fasting ceremony, Dr. Who inspired elements…plus, the bride walked down the […]

Keswick Vineyards Wedding Sneak Peek | Charlottesville Virginia Wedding Photographer

This past Saturday I had the opportunity to photograph a gorgeous, intimate Keswick Vineyards wedding. Enjoy this sneak peek […]

Trucks, tractors and a gorgeous bride | Fredericksburg Wedding Photographer

I recently had the opportunity to participate in a Fredericksburg wedding styled shoot at Belvedere Plantation. I’ve been visiting the Plantation since I was a young child, usually around Halloween to pick out the perfect pumpkin, so I was delighted to find out that they’re now hosting weddings. I imagine brides will love the location, […]

Kassey + Daniel | Fredericksburg Wedding Photographer

Okay, so I usually don’t deviate from my chronological order when posting, but I just have to share this amazing September Fredericksburg wedding that I shot with SSK Photography. The DIY details were on point with a country feel utilizing sunflowers, burlap, teal and lots of special little accents, including items designed by the bride’s […]

Sydnor Wedding | Stafford Virginia Wedding Photographer

I love weddings! I love the people, I love the traditions and I especially love the details. Anything DIY makes me swoon and I love how brides really make a wedding their own. Whether it be the music, food, place settings or name cards, brides choose a theme and roll with it. In late May, […]
