Is there anything better than colorful bridal inspiration? I don’t think so, especially right now during all of this COVID-19 bleakness. We can all use a little brightness in our lives.

Almost four years ago (I can’t believe it has been that long!), I captured a fiesta-style wedding shoot at Snead’s Asparagus Farm in Fredericksburg. I’m talking taco bar, margaritas, bright colors and tons of Spanish-inspired elements. It was fun and funky and not something you typically see. As part of that shoot, we went out to the orchard for some colorful bridal inspiration images. The bride wore a white wedding dress, but added pops of color through jewelry and hair accessories. She had paper flowers in her hair and stacked various brightly colored beaded necklaces together. There was also a bright floral bouquet and a bright tissue paper bouquet. Bridesmaids, including one super adorable flower girl, wore Spanish embroidered dresses which added even more pops of color. They paired the dresses with flowers in their hair.

The shoot was held in mid-August, so the warm summer sun lit up the green leaves of the trees adding even more dimension. The whole thing was warm, bright and sunny and so fun. Here are some favorites from the day.
