When Hannah shared her vision for her senior portraits, she was pretty clear about what she wanted–fall colors, barns and something unique among her classmates. I’d say we did a great job of checking off her wishlist. Last month, we headed out to Snead’s Asparagus Farm, which also operates a pumpkin patch and a Christmas tree farm, to find that rustic feel we were seeking. Not only were we able to use the barns, but the sunflower fields, pumpkin patch and fruit trees made for great photo spots. We also hunted down some fall color, and did I mention there were chickens? We had a great time wandering around the farm, stopping for photos along the way and the pictures turned out gorgeous, a few of which are included in this post. Hannah rocked her session. Congratulations on your senior year. Hope you have a great one!
I have to admit, I really geeked out about the light that was streaming through these trees. It was perfect!
Sometimes you tell your senior to pretend she’s walking through a tropical rainforest like on the Herbal Essences commercials.

capturing love stories since 2010
Located in a small town outside of Charlottesville, I love my couples and clients. I capture your story in a way that is authentic to your day and will stand the test of time with true to color editing. From the details to grandma trying the Cupid Shuffle, it’s all important and should all be photographed.

Fabulous senior photo session! I can see why you are the photographer to go to for Fredericksburg Senior Portraits!
This has me missing the leaves already! So pretty
Really nice! Senior portraits sure have changed since I was in high school haha!
Oh I love this senior session! So many great locations!
Great photos. I love the ring on the leaves, just beautiful.
I am literally Googling Fredericksburg but cannot figure out whether this is Virginia or Texas… At first glance, the locations look oh-so-familiar that I thought we could be from the same area (I’m down in Tennessee)!
Great job on capturing the perfect mix of locations, poses and angles!
XO, Oksana
Virginia, but yes there is a Fredericksburg, Texas. I used to work in the tourism industry and we would sometimes get calls for the wrong one.
