It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…

I love decorating for holidays and Christmas is no different. The tree goes up the weekend after Thanksgiving and because I try to complete as much of my Christmas shopping as possible on Black Friday, it usually has presents wrapped and under it that same weekend. I don’t go all Martha Stewart on my tree, but I like it because it has both ornaments I made as a child, ornaments from my childhood, Hallmark ornaments and then special ornaments my husband and I pick up on our vacations. Anywhere we go, we pick up an ornament which makes our tree more of a scrapbook of our many adventures.
The ornament on the left is our new Hallmark ornament for the year. The house plays music and lights up. And, of course, on the right is one from year’s past, because it just isn’t Christmas without Rudolph.

Even Buddy got into the spirit, posing for a Christmas card photo. What you can’t see is all of the treats he received for doing so.
