Lauren + Kyle | Loudoun County Wedding

Lauren and Kyle had the most beautiful Loudoun County wedding with all of the oranges and blues and perfect summer weather. The wedding was held July 2 and it was a gorgeous blue sky day.

The two got ready with their respective families and wedding party members at their venue, Trump National Golf Club, before a beautiful ceremony at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church. The church’s chapel is stunning. It’s bright and light with a beautiful floor and ornamental touches–a photographer’s dream.

Following the ceremony, it was back to Trump National Golf Club for the reception. The grounds of the golf club are great. At more than 600 acres, it backs up to the Potomac River so you have that river view which is perfect, plus there’s a wooden bridge and a kind of marsh area that almost makes you feel like you’re in the Carolinas. We took full advantage of the scenery during photos.

For the reception, Lauren and Kyle transformed the grand ballroom with tones of orange and cream. The centerpieces had peach and orange roses and white flowers, along with greenery. The flowers carried through on the cake and the head table. Guests dined on crab cakes and filet mignon with macarons and truffles for desert. Following dinner and toasts, it was time to hit the dance floor. There was a pack of boys maybe ages 12 and under who showed off a variety of dance moves. They were the best. Imagine the sprinkler and some sort of crab arms. Some of the other guests followed suit and everyone had the best time. It was a great pre-cursor to the upcoming Fourth of July holiday
