Summer Blooms | Silver Fox Lavender Farm Wedding Inspiration

If you love summer, pops of color and wildflowers, you’ll want to check out this Silver Fox Lavender Farm wedding inspiration. There were bright flowers, pops of yellow and green, a chocolate wedding cake and tons of colorful dessert cups, an embroidered floral veil and more.

Silver Fox Lavender Farm itself is gorgeous. It’s located in Nellysford and is set among the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you’re not familiar with the area, Nellysford is beautiful.  It’s in Nelson County which is probably most known for Wintergreen Resort and the 151, a beer, wine and spirits trail with Blue Mountain Brewery, Bold Rock Hard Cider and Devil’s Backbone as some of the locations. If you have a free day and find yourself in that area of Virginia, definitely check it out. Blue Mountain has fantastic pizza and a great view.

Silver Fox also has a great view with a pond, lavender fields and blooming trees. It is anchored by a post and beam building that serves as the reception space. They have tables and chairs to seat 150. There’s also a cute porch area and an upstairs for getting ready.

For this shoot, Erin Kinsey of Rockfish Valley Events focused on color. She incorporated tulips and daffodils, yellow candles, green glass, lots of desserts and a chocolate wedding cake topped with bright flowers. The bride for the shoot wore a romantic style, off the shoulder dress with a colorful embroidered veil. Her groom wore a blue tux with a yellow tie. In addition to the wedding couple, there was also a model with a pink dress to match the blooming trees.
