I love a good mountain backdrop and Madi and Ricky’s Staunton wedding did not disappoint. Madi and Ricky met at work, eventually ended up in the same friend group outside of work and ultimately started dating one summer. They eloped in the midst of the pandemic and later celebrated with family and friends during their “sequel wedding” at their family home, which is stunning. On one side, imagine a field with a mountain backdrop, across the road, a hill with cows and behind the home a beautiful pool. Madi and Ricky put a ton of work into the space prior to their wedding and it looked amazing.

Madi got ready inside the house, while Ricky and his groomsmen got ready in the adjacent carriage house. A tent in the backyard served as the reception space with the stone patio serving as the dance floor. Madi incorporated shades of dusty blue, blush and sage. Her maid of honor wore dusty blue while the groom and groomsmen worse navy blue suits. Perhaps the best part of the wedding party were the flower guys! These two knocked it out of the park, readying those in attendance for the bride’s walk down the aisle. They donned sunglasses, fanny packs and went for it, tossing flowers into the area down the aisle. Madi and Ricky’s pup also made an appearance for a photo which I love.

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a feast and dancing. And, remember that pool? Right before a storm popped up with the most insane pouring rain, several wedding party members jumped in. Love it!
