A trip to the beach…

In July, Ron and I took our annual week long beach trip with his family. Really, when
I say family, I mean extended family so think approximately 30 people in one beach house. It’s always a great time, if not somewhat overwhelming for someone like myself who grew up in a four person household. It helps that I absolutely love the beach. The ocean, the clouds, the sand. It’s amazing to see all of the people on the beach, each having their own experience and their own reason for being there. And while the beach is great in the middle of a hot summer day, I guess I favor the quieter times–the sunsets and the nights when most people have already gone inside after a long day in the sun.
