Back in October, my husband and I finally made it to Skyline Drive during the peak foliage week. It was very busy, but so beautiful. There’s just something about mountains, blue skies and white clouds. If you get the chance to check it out, you should. It’s worth it.

In March, my husband and I spent a day at the National Zoo in Washington, D.C. The weather was unusually warm for early spring and the animals were ready to play. We had a great time and I got some great shots. Dinner anyone? I absolutely love this duck. He was great!
