Back in October, my husband and I finally made it to Skyline Drive during the peak foliage week. It was very busy, but so beautiful. There’s just something about mountains, blue skies and white clouds. If you get the chance to check it out, you should. It’s worth it.

No sooner than I got back from the beach, it was time to head to the fair. I actually ended up going twice because I had free tickets. I only snapped a few quick photos, but you can’t have summer without the fair.

In March, my husband and I spent a day at the National Zoo in Washington, D.C. The weather was unusually warm for early spring and the animals were ready to play. We had a great time and I got some great shots. Dinner anyone?  I absolutely love this duck. He was great!
